Peace and kindness are needed by all.

Stress, anxiety, mental health and attention struggles having been steadily climbing over the last decade.

While changing the whole world might seem like an arduous tasks, we can take greater responsibility for strengthening & helping ourselves.

Hi!  My name is Kathryn, voice of Freebird Meditations

I am a yogi, meditator, daughter, partner, friend, and psychotherapist. But essentially just another fellow human journeying through this path of life, who has a sincere desire for there to be more peace and presence in a world that needs it dearly.

Through my own hardships, intense healings, & discoveries, I found meditation and mindfulness to be a very helpful tool and practice that came to me when I needed it the most. My dedication and desire to be more at peace with myself and learn more made the practices essential to my life and wellbeing.

With this discovery, I felt called to share meditation and mindfulness-based tools with the world at large by providing space to work with difficult experiences & develop insight and tangible tools for being.

I'm happy to share these resources to help you create a meditation practice that works for you and strengthen your mindful loving awareness of your life and the world, or at the very least find just create a little bit of space for peace, self-compassion and presence in your own life.

We didn't come here to suffer.  We came here to to grow, heal, create. to support one another, to be well...and most importantly to be free.

"I have insomnia and usually never sleep at night. If I do sleep, it's only for a couple of hours. Work up in the middle of the night last night after only 2 hours of sleep and couldn't get back to sleep. So frustrated. Decided to look up guided sleep meditation as a last resort and found this. Worked like a charm. so glad I found this. Thanks so much."  ~Ailene

As we learn to quiet the mind and the body, to allow spaciousness and ease within us, we can begin to explore and understand the patterns that often drive us, in a much deeper, non-judgmental way.

We can begin to let go and grow less attached to the myriad of distractions around us and within us, leading to a deeper understanding of ourselves, reducing stress, and cultivating a more balanced approach to living." to explore and understand the patterns that often drive us, in a much deeper, non-judgmental way.
