WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO WORK SOMATICALLY?

Somatic work involves engaging directly with the physiology and nervous system by tracking sensation and movement. Noticing what brings activation and what brings support, we can retain our system to find ease and capacity.

Rather than approaching experience only through thought or analysis, it invites attention to how the body holds and responds to what has been lived.

This often provides a different kind of relief. Change often unfolds through felt experience, as the nervous system learns new patterns of safety, responsiveness, and ease, rather than cognitive understandings.

...feel caught in stress, overwhelm, or tension that doesn’t seem to release

...struggle to relax even when they try, and feel curious about approaches that engage the body

...notice a growing disconnection from themselves or what once brought joy, and long to reconnect

...lean on scrolling, substances, or food, or other behaviors, and desire more supportive patterns

...feel frozen, on edge, or shut down, and long for steadiness and a sense of internal safety

...want change that unfolds gradually and is built on self-trust, not force or quick fixes

Wow. That was fascinating, valuable, and practical. This is my first introduction to somatic awareness, and, to say the very least, my interest is piqued. A PERSONAL NOTE...

Freebird Meditations Somatic Program_edi

I created this journey from firsthand experience of feeling stuck in my own nervous system, understanding things cognitively, yet still caught in patterns that didn't shift easily.

Somatic work changed that for me, gradually and sustainably, by learning to stay with experience rather than bypass it. I've since witnessed similar unfolding in others: change emerging as a growing capacity to feel and respond in ways thinking alone couldn't reach.

This work is about returning to the rhythms of your body, nervous system, and felt experience, learning to trust that support can arise from your own intelligent system within

If you're ready, I'd be honored to share this work with you.
