Hello and welcome! I'm a licensed therapist, certified mindfulness teacher, and somatic practitioner trained in Somatic Experiencing. I've worked with many people living with chronic pain and chronic illness. 

I'm a member of the club also. A back injury left me with pain that I deal with almost every day. For a long time I tried to push through it and I found myself in a dark spiral which left me even more depleted.

 

What actually helped was learning to work with my body and my nervous system instead of against them and I can still live a good life and my experience of pain is different. That journey is what led me to Somatic Experiencing, and eventually to creating this course.

Your pain may look different than mine. But pain is still pain. Let's learn how to live a good life even with it.
